Dusshera Pictures – Dusshera is also known as Durga Puja. This festival is celebrated throughout India year at the end of the rainy season. There is no harm in West Bengal in idol worship in Navaratri, whereas Dandiya played in Gujarat is unmatched. The festival lasts for ten whole days. People are busy in devotion. Special occasions of Mother Durga are seen. The festival ends on Dashami. This day is called Vijaya Dashami. The likeness of Ravana, symbolizing goodness on malicious, is singed on this day all through the nation.
On this day, Lord Rama slaughtered Ravana Ravana and rescued mother Sita from his imprisonment. And the whole society was frightened. Before killing Ravana, Ram worshipped Durga. Mother Durga was pleased with her worship and gave her a boon of victory. Ravana combustion is still done very fondly today. With this, fireworks are released. Devotees worshipping the statue of Durga worship the idol of Lord Vishnu with music.
